Happy Birthday Canada!
I spent some of the Canada day where the party was happening with Caylie Gynra herself. We walked to the Leg. grounds and it reminded me of a watering hole, what with all the people/children in the pools of water, women washing clothes, camels...you get the picture. A very sad moment happened when a little boy (or was it a tiger? face paint is good these days) lost his helium balloon to the clouds. Poor guy, lucky sky. Caylie and I drank "screamers" which are slurpie with ice cream ("slushakes" to all you Barrhead folk) and it reminded me of "Howlers" from Harry Potter. Speaking of the wizard who destroyed he-who-shall-not-be-named...i am one third-ish done the fourth one and I will be done all 6 by the time the last one comes out. I will. I will. Just watch me.
**also Caylie, I distributed the goods. I will send you pictures. **
I have made myself a delicious smoothie for my lunch tomorrow. It has milk, eggs and fabric softener...(what movie?!)
no, blueberries, banana, yogurt and soy milk. tehhhsty.
Caylie and I were discussing how excited we are for school. I really can't wait to sit inside a classroom again. That may change after my first week of having "curriculum music" for 9 hours and hearing all about "teetees" and "tatas" and trying NOT to think of those as pseudonyms for breasts. I tell ya, five years out of piano lessons and my mind has turned to complete rubbish. But really, who doesn't giggle a bit at the word "pianist"?
Well, my feet are cold and I want to brush my teeth and Stand on guard for thee.
