c'mon. just one more?
On Thursday I bought an ipod video. I am head over heels for the little guy. i had a second generation ipod mini but it has died basically. today I went for a walk with my new friend and i walked for like 10 more minutes than i usually do so that i could walk to Toxic by britney. Then i replayed it. you would've too. it just feels like you are in a movie when you are walking to music. people seem friendlier, trees prettier, grasshoppers equally as gross...

I have not done any homework this whole weekend. There has also been very little "sit at home and do nothing" time so I feel better about the loads of reading I still have to accomplish tonight. On friday i went to Luke's house for a "family engagement party." That was fun. At one point I looked around the table at my soon-to-be "family in-law" and thought "wow. this is it." Gooood thing I like em'. Saturday I had to go get my ring, go to the library, do some baking, attend a kickball/mix tape party, family supper and sleepover with Anstey. ALL of the above were quite enjoyable. Anstey has the cutest little place right behind the high level diner. I am jealous of it. I hope me and Luke can find a home like that.

Last night I dreamed that I was apart of this ridiculously long walk. I think it was a Nakamun thing but I also think the reason that i had it in my mind was cause of the show 'fat march' which is like the biggest loser. At the end of the dream we all jumped into the Glacier lake and it wasn't freezing. it was perfect. i wish I was swimming there right now.

Autumns Here
"it makes you sad, about the crummy, summer you had..."

My summer wasn't ultra crummy. Just kind of. And now it is over. Camp was good for the most part. There were some cute kids and some bad kids and some cute bad kids. There were some arrogant counsellors and some naive leadership staff but on the WHOLE, it was good. I am certainly glad I was not out there the whole summer though. So then that Friday I went to Barrhead and had a sleepover with jenny. On Saturday we came into the city and then me and Luke hung out. I took him to the library, then we went to 'OPM' for supper which was tasty and then we went to a park where he said 'will you marry me?' and I said 'yes i will." so I am engaged which is strange and exciting. The week following I had the flu so physically I could not express the happiness I was feeling. But I am happy. Real happy.

School has been alright. Everything is very condensed this semester because I will be doing student teaching. I am done finals on Oct.5th which is less than a month away. YEEK. There are some really lame people in the education faculty. There are also some great people so it all evens out.

This past weekend my family went to my cousin's wedding in Calgary. It was a very traditional "wedding" wedding. Lots of tulle and roses. Not my style. It is a little daunting to have to plan a wedding, but I think I will start with the playlist and work from there.

Well I slept through my first class so I gotta get movin' so I can make it to my second class.

werrrd.
